We catch up on Kaylie since episode one, talk about last 2 years of Kevin Unscripted and answer some questions submitted from listeners
Kevin Unscripted Podcast reaches a milestone with the release of Episode 100, I deeply appreciate the support and want to extend my heartfelt gratitude.
I am a strong believer in giving acknowledgments and recognizing the numerous individuals involved in the journey of a small podcast. This acknowledgment, lengthy but important:
– Firstly, to my wife, for her endless patience and understanding of the commitments involved in this journey.
– To my family members, who are not just natural supporters but also genuine motivators and have even participated in Kevin Unscripted Episodes 1, 3, 4, 51, and 57. Colin Willeboordse, you have the right to say ‘I told you so.’
– Every single guest who placed their trust in us and invested their time, especially those who physically came to the studio to record.
– To our listeners and viewers – your engagement means the world, and without you, this would never be possible.
– A special thanks to Mike Sabourin at work for his flexibility and support, enabling me to balance all consuming commitments to the Oil Patch and the Podcast. The challenge of working around this element is not underestimated or taken for granted, especially in the Oil/Gas Industry. Working close to home and taking time off when needed has been a rare privilege in our field. (Rare, Like spotting albino Bigfoot)
– Brian Kirschner and Cindy Mohr from The LidoLido in FSJ, thank you for connecting us with a diverse range of guests, from comedians, musicians, magicians and hypnotists.
– Skyler Rowsell and Jaanus Palm from Systems Rental Source, your immeasurable help has been pivotal in elevating the Unscripted game and managing the learning curve. I look forward to future collaborations.
– Jeremy Evans (The Grizzly Dude Adventures) from Episode 62. The first mono video set the stage for what followed, and our relationship has grown, involving our families and evolving into a valued friendship.
– Chris Schreyer, featured in Episodes 2 and 12, thank you for your ongoing, unwavering support from the start.
– Niki Hedges, for your trust in Episode 19, the relationship that developed from it, and your continued support.
– Shannon Stange from Episode 56, developing Kevin Unscripted website and brainstorming ways to sustain the podcast’s longevity.
-Nichole Bradley Photography for taking amazing episode pictures
-Kim Rose for helping with getting a better understanding with social media posting
– Kathleen Connolly, your passion, energy, and drive are inspirational. Inspiring and creating opportunity to become more involved in community. I look forward to sharing more experiences with a fellow spirited individual.
– Doug Scott, Collaborating Episode 79 with Aaron Gunn and the CTA group from Episode 68, who care deeply about our community.
Since episode one, there has been a long list of people contributing to the growth of the Podcast and pushing it to the next level. Guests who have become friends, enriching this experience, and listeners who have shown support by suggesting topics, making guest connections, and sharing stories that need to be told.
I hope I haven’t overlooked anyone. Your contributions and support have been instrumental in our journey and, at times, truly humbling. They’ve helped me push through doubts and continue on this experience. I can’t wait to share what’s next!
